Members of the Greenwood Country Historical Society today honored the Dr. Benjamin E. Mays Home, circa 1885 and the Millway Plantation, circa 1836, as winners of the 2014 Historical Architectural Preservation and Restoration Awards from the Society. Both buildings were honored at a meeting the Historical Society on Sunday, January 26th at the Benjamin Mays Site, GLEAMNS Complex, 237 N. Hospital St., Greenwood, SC.
