Gov. Nikki Haley has appointed two new trustees to John de la Howe School in McCormick. Tom Love of McCormick and Dan Shonka of Central have been confirmed by the South Carolina Senate to begin five-year terms on the governing board of the 217-year-old institution, which serves children from across South Carolina in grades 6-12 who require a safe place to heal, grow and make lasting changes in their lives.
