Just over a year ago, Kevin and Toni Dickey were unsure if they would ever see their granddaughter, Summer, grow up. Summer suffered a severe case of shaken baby syndrome and was not expected to live, let alone continue to grow into a normal toddler. Today, Summer continues to defy the odds and is often referred to by the Dickeys as “our little miracle.”
