Funding the Greenwood County Fire Service has become a hot-button issue over the course of the last two years, particularly when it comes to discussions over a fire fee many say is inadequate for the funding needs for providing fire protection to the citizens of Greenwood County. On Tuesday, Greenwood County Council heard several proposals for funding the future needs of the Greenwood County Fire Service.
