The First Annual Run To The Rescue 5K to benefit the Humane Society of Greenwood raised over $4,000 for the nonprofit animal welfare agency. This freshman effort, held at American Legion Post #20 and funded by contributions from over 70 area businesses and donors, was planned by HSOG supporters Leigh Bradberry, Laura Livingston, and David Westberry. Over 30 volunteers were recruited to work the event and 125 runners finished the race.
