United Way of Greenwood and Abbeville Counties will hold its second annual Speed Mentoring event Friday, May 6 th at Northside Middle School (431 Deadfall Rd West, Greenwood). This is one of two mentoring events sponsored by the United Way Young Leaders Society. The Young Leaders Society (YLS) is a means for young professionals (ages 21 – 40 years old) to participate in service and philanthropy in their community. Denise Manley, United Way President and CEO states, “United Way's Young Leaders Society members are caring and committed young professionals on a mission to encourage philanthropy and volunteerism”.
