On Sept 11, 2016 police responded to Self Regional Healthcare where a woman had arrived bleeding from the head and reporting she had been beaten by her live-in boyfriend. According to police reports, Nathaniel Deshawn Hurley, 23 of Cambridge Street, Abbeville was arrested for hitting his girlfriend in the head with a pistol.
