The Iota Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc recently recognized members who have gone above and beyond to support the programs and services of the sorority. Mrs. Mamie Banks of Mt. Carmel was selected as Soror of the Year; Mrs. Wynetta C. Miller from Cokesbury received the Louise M Parker Award and Reverend James F Davis, III, Pastor of Dunn Creek Baptist Church, Ware Shoals received the community service award.
