Greenwood Genetic Center (GGC) recently recognized the 2013 graduates of its laboratory fellowship training program. Frank Bartel, PhD, completed a laboratory fellowship in cytogenetics and has been named as an Assistant Director of GGC’s Cytogenetics Laboratory. Alka Chaubey, PhD, already board-certified in cytogenetics, completed a molecular genetics fellowship. She has worked as an Assistant Director of GGC’s Cytogenetics Laboratory since 2010. Amanda Lindy, PhD, also completed a molecular genetics fellowship and will leave GGC in September to take a position as a Review Analyst/Senior Scientist at GeneDx in Maryland.
