Over the years, Lander University custodian Tommy Tumblin, otherwise known as “Tommy Claus,” has given away numerous instruments to Lander music students. Last week, during Lander’s Jazz Ensemble concert, Department of Music chair Dr. Lila Noonkester thanked Tumblin for his generosity to others by presenting him with a plaque.
